Jane Fonda was a defining voice of an age, a powerful activist as well as a movie star. In addition to her various acting jobs, Fonda has campaigned against the Vietnam War, the Iraq War, and oil pipelines since 1960. After marrying wealthy Ted Turner, she announced her retirement from performing in 1991. Fonda steadily made a comeback with the smash movie Monster In Law, in which she co-starred with Jennifer Lopez. Fonda continues to act in films and television, despite not taking on as many roles as she used to, and she wants to take on more projects in the future. She will play “The Dragon” in Luck, an animated children’s film slated for release in 2022.
