When it comes to the horror genre, it’s difficult to imagine a film that can match The Shining in terms of popularity. It is now regarded as a classic for a reason. The story revolves around an aspiring writer and former alcoholic, performed to perfection by Jack Nicholson. His character works as a caretaker at a hotel in the Rocky Mountains. The family is unable to leave the remote hotel due to a winter storm, and his sanity continues to deteriorate. “Here’s Johnny!” was actually frightening.
