The veterinarian was working quickly to get closer. He advised David to leave, and he requested that Mark remain nearby. The veterinarian moved closer to the snake in a cautious manner, but the snake would not allow it. The snake continued to watch over his nest. Because of everything that had happened earlier, he was fuming with rage.
