Shirley Eaton appeared frequently in British films during the 1950s and 1960s. She rose to prominence, however, after appearing as the legendary Bond Girl Jill Masterson in the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger. Despite her bombshell notoriety as a result of the part, she opted to retire in 1969 to focus on raising her family. Eaton’s autobiography, Golden Girl, was a best-seller when it was published in 1999. She also released three more books in the early 2000s. The 84-year-old former actress was married to Collin Rowe, a businessman who died in 1994, leaving her with their two children, Grant and Jason.
