Fortunately for Sara, the other family members stepped in to stop Sara’s sister from making a huge deal out of the fact that she wasn’t wearing the ring. They understood how pointless it was to argue over something so trivial on such a depressing day. Although Lydia was pleased that her family members supported her, she didn’t feel much better about that particular day as a result.
