Shefali Chowdhury made a splash in independent film, captivating viewers as Parvati Patil in the “Harry Potter” series. She had a sisterly relationship off-screen with co-star Afshan Azad, who played her on-screen twin, Padma, that went beyond the fantastical. Shefali left her Hogwarts outfit behind to pursue a career in indie filmmaking.
