Dame Sheila Hancock will be 88 years old in 2021, but she has the creativity and enthusiasm of a much younger lady. She appeared in the new seasons of A Discovery of Witches and Unforgotten just this year. Hancock, who was raised in a “lower-middle-class” family, understands the value of hard effort and has been in over 110 acting projects. She also succeeded as a theater actor, earning a Tony Award nomination and an Olivier Award. Over the years, she has appeared in numerous notable productions, including Annie, Sweeney Todd, The Winter’s Tale, Cabaret, and Sister Act.
