She has been in the all-time classics The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins, and she is still working in movies and giving back to her fans at the age of 85. She is the pride of Walton-on-Thames, a tiny market town in Surrey County. Andrews, who is currently working on the animated picture Minions: The Rise of Gru, portrays Lady Whistledown in the upcoming Netflix hit series Bridgerton. The BBC conducted a poll in 2002 to determine the 100 greatest Britons of all time. Andrews, a true national hero, was ranked 59!
