Anne Reid, an English actress, knows how to pick’em: in the previous two decades, she’s acted in films such as The Mother, Inside No. 9, and Years and Years, a wonderful 2019 mini-series. She recently joined the cast of SAS: Red Notice, an action film based on the true life of a former British SAS member. Reid’s career is looking more promising than ever. Still, she’s no newcomer: she’s been working continuously since the late ’50s, and she’s achieved success across all platforms (from stage to big screen), appearing in shows as legendary as Coronation Street and Last Tango in Halifax.
